Provincial Groundwater Monitoring Network (PGMN)
The Provincial Groundwater Monitoring Network is a collaborative project between Conservation Authorities and the Ministry of the Environment. The programs overall objective is to collect and analyze groundwater and groundwater levels at designated wells within Crowe Valley and across the Province. These samples are analyzed for a variety of parameters including pH, conductivity, alkalinity, major ions and metals. This supports the Province's water management program, and gives Crowe Valley important information about the groundwater levels and quality within the watershed boundaries.
