The Conley-Drinkwater Cottage is located on the McGeachie Conservation Area, is and beautiful Steenburg Lake just south of Bancroft. The cottage features three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a loft. The cottage is fully equipped with all the conveniences of home. The kitchen has a fridge, stove, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and all dining utensils. The living room has a propane fireplace and a reading nook.
Trails
The Conservation Area boasts an extensive network of trails on the property. The area is also close to the Trans Canada Trail and the Hastings Heritage Trail for your hiking pleasure.
Water Access
You have private access to Steenburg Lake and there is also a public beach only a five minute walk from the cottage. A canoe is available for your use.
Campfire
A campfire ring is available for sitting around the campfire at nights. You will need to bring your own wood. A barbecue is also available for your use. Please not all cottage renters will abide by any fire restrictions in place by the local fire department. You can obtain fire restriction on the Township of Limerick webpage. Any fines laid will be payable by the cottage renter.
