The Crowe Valley conservation Authority has just recently launched the McGeachie cottage renovation project located at the McGeachie Conservation Area. The CVCA is hopeful that sufficient funds will be raised to make a number of repairs and improvements to the cottage. these renovations are necessary for public safety and to ensure an historical landmark remains viable for the Steenburg Lake community located in Limerick Township. Some of the renovations address structural and safety concerns that have been identified recently. While other work will focus on improving the buildings energy efficiencies and making improvements for the functionality of the cottage. All of the work will maintain the historical integrity of the building.
The components of the project will be completed as funding is secured. Private donations to assist with this project will receive a tax receipt. A receipt will be issued to for donations of $10 or more.
