The Crowe Valley Conservation Authority monitors groundwater through the Provincial Groundwater Monitoring Network (PGMN) at 7 wells throughout the watershed. The PGMN program is run with the cooperation of the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MOECP).
Ground water levels are downloaded from level loggers located inside of the wells twice a year, in the spring and the fall. The wells are sampled annually in the fall of each year and the samples are sent to the MOECP labs where they are used to determine a number of water quality parameters.
